Rajen is our Coventry cosmetic dentist at Densmile Dental Care.
He
qualified as a dentist in 1982 from the University of
Sheffield and subsequently spent 3 years working as an associate
dentist at a general practice in Oldham, Lancashire. Following
this, he sat up a practice in Whiston, Merseyside, between Liverpool
and St Helens.
In 1990, Rajen sold the practice and moved to the Midlands working
as a locum. A year later, he bought the present Coventry Densmile dental practice and
became the 3rd proud owner of Densmile Dental Care since 1964. |
Rajen's interests are in "Creating A Life Long Smile"
for his patients through Preventive, Cosmetic Dentistry and Restorative
Dentistry as well as treating nervous patients.
In his spare time, he enjoys following sports with a keen interest
in Cricket. He likes philosophy and current affairs.
Rajen attends numerous dental courses and meetings which enable
him to keep abreast of the latest developments in Dentistry.
He is supported by a friendly team of professionals that are
here for you, to make your visit relaxing and special.

Dal has an NVQ (Level 3) in Oral Health Care and is our practice co-ordinator at Densmile Dental Care, Coventry. Her duties include reception, nursing and admin.
Dal has been at Densmile dental practice for over four years and has interests in extraction, oral surgery and oral health education.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the cinema and surfing the Internet.

We are pleased to welcome Nimisha to the dental team. She is a Dental Hygienist and Therapist. She completed her studies at the University of Sheffield in 2005. She has also won an award at The University of Sheffield for Outstanding Performance in Clinical Work (BDA award).
She is able to carry out treatment to secure your dental health. She has special interest in teeth whitening and white cosmetic fillings to provide nice white smile for patients. She works well with nervous patients and has lots of experience.
A dental hygienist/therapist is a licensed dental professional who specialises in preventative oral health, typically focusing on techniques in oral hygiene. A qualified Dental Therapist can treat adults and children in all but the most complex of dental procedures.
Your dentist will examine you and prescribe the course of treatment that is required. This will be clearly indicated on your record. She may then recommend that this treatment be carried out by the Therapist: simple fillings, taking x-rays, taking impressions for study models, the emergency placement of crowns and fillings if removed during treatment, the extraction of ‘baby’ teeth and the application of fluoride and sealants, scale and polish, periodontal cleaning, root surface debridement for patients with periodontal disease, providing instruction for proper oral hygiene and care.
While the Dental Therapist is carrying out this routine work, the Dentist can spend more time on more complex work. This will help to reduce the waiting times for all appointments at the practice.
If during your treatment, the Therapist needs any further advice about your treatment, she will be able speak to your dentist at that time. Also, if you feel that you would like to speak to your dentist about an amendment to your treatment plan, a further appointment can be arranged to suit. We hope that you will be happy with the service we provide and look forward to you returning to the practice on a regular basis.
