Our Teeth Whitening Home
Kit can brightened the natural shade of your teeth. This
is similar to "over the counter" products but
with two main differences. Firstly, our dentist makes
the rubber mouthguards so that they fit your teeth precisely,
and secondly, the bleaching gel is stronger so it tends
to be more effective. Our dentist will give you tubes
of bleaching gel and instructions on how to put the gel
in the mouthguards. Find out more about our Special
Offer...
Porcelain veneers
and crowns,
together with gum contouring, can be used to lengthen
and reshapen teeth. Although porcelain is an extremely
translucent material, it is also very strong. Porcelain
veneers and crowns are permanent restorations, and they
can be expected to last for many years.
Caries
/ Decay, White Fillings and Amalgam Removal
We can remove silver (amalgam)
fillings and replace them with white, tooth coloured (composite)
fillings. Composites are mercury-free fillings. Mercury
in the silver fillings is viewed by some as being toxic.
Composite fillings restore most of the original strength
of the tooth. Silver fillings weaken the teeth, making
them more susceptible to breaking. Since broken teeth
are very expensive to restore, composites can save a lot
of expense over the long run.
Fluorosis
(White Marks) and Stains
We can remove fluorosis
(white marks on teeth) and stains by covering them with
white, tooth coloured composite veneers.
If composite is used, the veneers can be done in one appointment.
Our dentist will actually make the veneer directly on
the prepared tooth. The veneer is then smoothed and polished
to look like your natural teeth.
Broken
or Chipped Teeth
Accidents happen, especially
during sports. Broken or chipped teeth can be restored
using porcelain veneers
and crowns.
Your own customised mouth guard can be created to prevent
further accidents.
